Ruth Elaine Gates
Funeral services for Ruth Elaine Gates will be 2:00pm Friday, March 16, 2018 at Loch Arbor Baptist Church with Bro. William Sikes officiating. Interment will follow at the Loch Arbor Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe.
Ruth was born March 27, 1947 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on March 13, 2018 in Monroe, LA at the age of 70.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Gates, and one brother, Rick Gates.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Tina Calhoun and husband, Jay of Calhoun, Yvonne Salsbury and husband, Travis of Lexington, SC, Keith “Beau” Pierce and wife, Kim of West Monroe, and Vickie Goodman and husband, Jon of Malvern, AR; three sisters, Charlotte Riser and husband, Fred of West Monroe, Vickie Nouveau-ne’ and husband, Roger of Spring, TX, and Kathy Richnow of Spring, TX; sister-in-law, Debbie Gates of Houston, TX; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm until time of service Friday, March 16, 2018 at the church.
