Obituary for David Wayne Fowler
David Wayne Fowler, age 59, left this earth on Friday, October 20, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. He was born March 21, 1958 in Monroe, LA.
He is survived by his children, Danielle McDaniel and husband Steven of Calhoun, Ashley Lawrence and husband Jason of West Monroe; wife Wanda Fowler; grandchildren, Madison, Ashton and Jonathan Young, Alyssa Wilkins, Marc-Paul and Arabella Futch; two sisters, Angie Beam and Suzanne Graham; two nieces, Megan Williamson and Savannah Duke; great niece, Hadlie Walker; and great nephew, Jax Williamson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Fowler and Gaye Fowler Day; and nephew, Derrick Walker.
David was a hard worker, pipelining for IUOE for over 20 years, mentoring people along the way and was an active member of Union Locals 178 and 406. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and sports as well as spending time with family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Griffin Funeral Home on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 4:00pm. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
