Gorman McDowell
Graveside memorial services for Mr. Gorman McDowell of Bastrop, LA will be 2:00pm Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Cemetery in Jones, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. McDowell was born August 18, 1943 in Jones, LA and passed from this life on September 17, 2017 in Bastrop, LA at the age of 74.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Irma McDowell; his parents, Ray and Nancy McDowell and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his daughter, Krystal Frisby and husband, Jamie of Bastrop; his brother, Norman McDowell and wife Bonnie of Bastrop; his grandchildren, Savannah, Colby and Mason Frisby all of Bastrop; his close friend, Clyde Washer of West Monroe; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
