Ronny Gene Lowery
Funeral services for Mr. Ronny Gene Lowery of Eros, LA will be 1:00pm Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Community of Christ, 5791 Hwy 34 Eros, LA with Bro. Martin Williams and Vince Roussin officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Lowery was born July 11, 1953 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on September 4, 2017 in Monroe, LA at the age of 64. He was retired from Atmos Energy and was a member of Crossroads Cowboy Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, spending time with family and taking care of the home place.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Maudine Lowery; one sister, Judy Carol Foy; and two nephews Seth Colby Lowery and Travis Dale Lowery.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Pam Lowery of Eros, LA; three children, Kris Jones and wife Brandi, Ronny Lowery, II and Annie Till all of West Monroe; two brothers, Dale Lowery and wife Joyce of Pioneer and J.D. Lowery of Bastrop; four grandchildren, Krystyna Jones, Tristan Jones, Ainsley Till and Aubrey Jemerson all of West Monroe; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Vince Roussin, Kevin Braun, Buddy Ramsey, Doug Jackson, Kyle Bullock, Jackie Dunn and Travis Keen.
