Private family services for Ms. Leora Lorraine Bruce of Grayson, LA will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
Ms. Bruce was born December 3, 1950 in Chicago, IL and passed from this life on August 27, 2017 in Grayson, LA at the age of 66. She enjoyed watching TV, cooking and taking care of her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bruce; her parents, James and Martha Parker; and two brothers, Ralph and James.
Survivors include her children, John Lashare and wife, Amber of Grayson, Jaclyn Lashare of Limon, CO, Erica Bruce of Corpus Christi, TX, Robert Bruce, Jr. of Calhoun, Jennifer Carney of Farmersville, TX, Tiffany Garcia of McKinney, TX, Kimberly Andrews of California and Beverly Andrews of Austin, TX; her fiancé, Harold Gosdin, Jr. of Monroe; one sister, Terry; thirteen grandchildren and one on the way; one great-grandchild and one on the way; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
