Funeral services for Mr. Herbert Benoit Crain of Marion, LA will be 10:00am Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Dean Baptist Church in Marion, LA with Bro. Don Reeves and Bro. Donald Dulaney officiating. Interment will follow at Dean Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 9:00am until time of service Saturday at the church.

Mr. Crain was born January 7, 1935 in Sikes, LA and passed from this life on August 23, 2017 in Farmerville, LA at the age of 82. He was a member of Dean Baptist Church, avid hunter and fisherman, loved gardening and woodwork.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Marcell Whatley and brother, Morris Crain.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cora Crain of Marion, LA; one son, David Crain and wife Lisa of Pineville, LA; one daughter, Darla Crain of Dallas, TX; one sister, Sue Adams of Sikes, LA; two granddaughters, Bethany Alise Perkins of Alexandria, LA and Hailey Alexis Shelton of Pineville, LA; 2 great-grandchildren, Jonah Perkins and Brynlee Shelton both of Pineville, LA; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Doug Crain, Mike Baker, Gaven Shelton, Collin Pardue, Ronnie Royal and Elton Pardue.
