Juanita Thompson

Funeral services celebrating the life of Juanita Ann Thompson ,72, of West Monroe will be 2PM Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Sterlington Holiness Tabernacle in Sterlington, La. Interment will follow at the St. Paschal Cemetery in West Monroe, La. under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home-West Monroe.

Juanita was born on November 21, 1944 in Clarks, La to Julie Lou Ann Taylor and James Edward Benson Hedgepeth and passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 in West Monroe.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Julie Lou Ann Taylor and James Edward Benson Hedgepeth and one sister, Linda Norris.

She is survived by her husband Richard Thompson, her son, Scott Thompson and wife Darnell, son, Tim Thompson and wife, Jodi. Six grandchildren - Braylyn, Carragen, Hayden, Dayton, Timothy and Asher Thompson.

Pallbearers will be Dayton Thompson, Braylyn Thompson, Vernon Thompson, Jessie Hedgepeth, Bennie Hedgepeth, and Charlie McNair.

Thanks to Dr. Jones and the whole staff at Glenwood Regional Medical center that provided medical attention. Special thanks to Mandy Worthey.

Visitation will be 5:00PM until 7:00PM Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Sterlington Holiness Tabernacle, 502 Hwy 2 Sterlington, La.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
